The Curlew Task Force has now culminated in the production of a draft set of recommendations, which all stakeholders party to the Task Force have contributed to and reviewed in full. The synthesis group of the Curlew Task Force will meet to finalise these recommendations in early 2019, pulling together the various related strands with recommended actions for Curlew conservation in Ireland into the future. This is essentially a blueprint for policy relating to Curlew conservation. The work of the Curlew Conservation Programme and other initiatives locally across Ireland is delivering much needed progress on the ground in parallel.
