Wicklow Mountains National Park: Bat Walk 13 July 2017

Our Bat Walks are a perennial favourite with old and young alike. The walk starts at dusk as we watch the bats emerge from their maternity roost in the Information Office. We shall then head off on a stroll to see some other species. All ages are welcome.

Where: Information Office, Upper lake, Glendalough

When: Thursday 13 July 2017 at 9.30 pm.

Duration: between 1.5 to 2 hours

Practicalities: All welcome. No dogs. Participants are advised to bring insect repellent and a torch. This event is free of charge, but please be aware that the Upper Lake car park (Wicklow Co. Council) has a €4 charge.

This event is organised by education staff based at Wicklow Mountains National Park who are employed by the National Parks & Wildlife Service under the aegis of Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs.
