Plant Folklore (for Heritage Week), 26 August 2018 - Free, but booking essential!

Learn to identify some of the plants in Glendalough. Many of our plants have interesting folklore and may also have been used in herbal remedies.

Where: meeting at the National park Information Office, Upper Lake, Glendalough.

When: Sunday 26 August @11am

Duration: 2 hours

Practicalities: Suitable for adults and older teenagers. Participants must bring suitable hiking footwear (boots/trail shoes) and rain gear. Please leave your dog at home. This event is free of charge but please be aware that there is a charge for parking (€4 per car) at the Upper Lake car park (Wicklow County Council).

Booking: Booking is essential. Bookings taken Sunday 12 August, from 10am.
