EU LIFE Information Day
Date Released: Thursday, December 22, 2016
An EU LIFE Programme Information Day will take place on Friday morning 17 February 2017 in Chartered Accountants House, Pearse Street, Dublin. This year’s event is being held ahead of the annual call for applications (due for publication in May 2017) as a means of informing potential applicants about the programme, the opportunities for funding and the eligibility requirements.
Focus on the day will be given to the eligibility criteria and other requirements, as well as practical issues such as tips on preparing and writing a LIFE application. Confirmed speakers on the day include a representative from successful LIFE projects and colleagues from the UK LIFE National Contact Point Office who will run an interactive session focused on eligibility/LIFE priorities.
Registration
Anybody interested in attending the LIFE Information Day should register by email at LIFE@dccae.gov.ie as soon as possible. Priority will be given to groups with clearly developed ideas on applications for submission in 2017 or subsequent calls for applications.
This year’s LIFE call is expected to open in mid-May 2017, with closings dates in September 2017 depending on the project category.
